A series of territorial meetings kicks off today in Naples to present the functionalities of the AppCOE platform to the Managing Authorities of the 2021–2027 Regional Programmes.

The platform plays a central role within the overall framework of the Territorial Services Centre (Centro Servizi Territoriale – CST), one of the two Operations of Strategic Importance under the CapCoe National Programme.

The Territorial Support Services Centre contributes to the Programme’s overarching objective of enhancing the effectiveness of cohesion policy interventions by strengthening administrative capacity, particularly within Southern administrations.

Through the CST and the AppCOE platform, CapCoe makes available to the territorial entities benefiting from the Regional Programmes in the seven Less Developed Regions a “catalogue” of services and tools designed to support the entire lifecycle of co-financed projects — from identifying potential funding opportunities, through implementation, to monitoring, reporting, and auditing of operations.

The meetings, organised by the Department for Cohesion Policies and the South – the managing authority of the National Programme – with the support of Eutalia, the implementing body of the CST, aim to share the main features of the initiative and to present in detail the organisational model for service delivery. They also serve to assess, directly on site, specific support needs of each territory, thereby ensuring an effective tailoring of CST services. For this reason, entities involved in the implementation of EU Fund-related regional programming have also been invited to take part.

Following these technical meetings, territorial communication initiatives will also be launched to promote this key operation of the CapCoe Programme. The latest episode of the podcast “La coesione riparte dalle persone” is dedicated to the CST and can be accessed here
