Published on the InPA Recruitment Portal is the RIPAM call for applications for the recruitment of 2,200 new officials in the territorial administrations of Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sardinia and Sicily and at the Department for Cohesion Policies and for the South.
The initiative – strongly supported by the European Commission and the Italian government and financed with European and national resources through the National Programme Capacity for Cohesion 2021-2027 managed by the Department for Cohesion Policies and for the South – provides for open-ended contracts for additional staff over and above the allocation of the recipient entities.
The new hires will be dedicated exclusively to the management of cohesion policy, with the aim of ensuring the efficient use of European funds and accelerating the socioeconomic development of the territories involved, thus contributing to the overall growth of the country.
The national competition-organized by the Department of Civil Service in agreement with the Department for Cohesion Policies and for the South-responds to the strengthening needs expressed through an expression of interest by municipalities, Union of Municipalities, Provinces, Metropolitan Cities and Regions in the areas concerned and to the objective of qualifying the use of European resources, improving spending performance and thus ensuring the full achievement of cohesion policy objectives in the South.
To ensure stability for the operation, the costs will be borne until the end of 2029 by the National Programme Cohesion Capacity 2021-2027 and thereafter with resources from the State budget. Deadline for applications: November 7, 2024.
For Entities that will not be eligible for new hires, a strengthening initiative is planned to accompany the full implementation of cohesion policy projects on the ground through a technical-specialist support service, again financed with resources from the National Cohesion Capacity Program 2021-2027.
