The NP #CapCoe participated in the meeting of the national #INFORMITA network, the plenary event bringing together communicators from the National and Regional Programmes of the 2021–2027 ERDF and ESF+ programming period.
The meeting, held on 7 November in Rome at the headquarters of the Department for Cohesion Policy and the South, was organised by the Coordinator for EU Funds Communication. This role, designated in all Member States pursuant to Article 48 of the Common Provisions Regulation (EU) 2021/1060, is hosted in Italy within the same Department of the Presidency of the Council.
It was an important occasion for professionals working in the communication of EU Funds, offering an opportunity for discussion on ongoing and future activities.
During the meeting, several key topics were explored, including awareness and public perception of EU policies; measurement and metrics for analysing cohesion policy communication; the use of artificial intelligence tools and their opportunities and impacts in terms of metrics and social listening; as well as an update on the ITA Barometer—the national survey on the level of awareness of cohesion policy across the country, promoted by the Department for Cohesion Policy and the South as part of its national coordination function.
Updates were also shared regarding the integrated communication campaign STEP, along with information on upcoming initiatives of the network and scheduled meetings at both national and European level.
