On the occasion of Europe Day, the Department for the Cohesion Policy and the South launches a new communication campaign on STEP—the Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform—introduced by the European Commission through Regulation (EU) 2024/795.
“With Europe, and through cohesion policies, we give innovation the drive to compete“ is the central message of the campaign, which aims to raise awareness and encourage participation of businesses in calls for proposals under the initiative. These calls target actors operating in key sectors such as digital and deep tech, clean and efficient technologies, and biotechnology.

As part of FORUM PA 2025, the official launch event of the campaign will take place on 21 May, organised by the Department in cooperation with the Campania Region. Additional events will follow to ensure broad visibility of the opportunities offered by STEP to support the country’s technological growth.
