More than 2 million projects have been observed with reference to different European and national programming periods, with a monitored public cost of € 276,9 billion, while payments recorded at the end of the third two-month period of the current year amount to € 162,7  billion. As regards the costs directly incurred by cohesion policies (the ‘cohesion cost’), it amounts to € 223,5 billion, with payments totaling € 144,2 billion.

This update of the portal also sees a data adjustment that takes into account the closure rules for the Structural Funds of the 2014-2020 period. Among the programmes of the 2014-2020 period, four are monitored for the first time, respectively as follow:

  • PSC MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE, FOOD SOVEREIGNTY AND FORESTS (FSC 14-20 programme, section “Development and Cohesion Plans”);
  • CIRCULAR ECONOMY (FSC 14-20 programme, section “other FSC programmes”);
  • INTERNAL AREAS STRATEGY FRIULI-VENEZIA GIULIA REGION SERVICES;
  • POC INCLUSION

The publication of data relating to the 2021-2027 period, in particular in relation to European funds, is instead awaiting the full operation of the new national monitoring system. At the moment, only some interventions (advances) financed by the Development and Cohesion Fund are present, because they are monitored in the system relating to the previous period.
