The Department for the Cohesion Policies and the South of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers hosted on February 27 the first meeting of the National Technical Secretariat of Administrative Regeneration Plans – PrigA.

The initiative, planned within the framework of the activities of the dedicated project funded by the NP Capacity for Cohesion 21-27, responds to a specific request from the territories for a national coordination aimed at sharing and reusing good practices, models and operational tools.

The meeting, opened by Riccardo Monaco, Coordinator of the Office IV for Administrative Capacity Building and Alessandra Augusto, Managing Authority of the NP #capcoe, and introduced by the European Commission’s Directorate General for Regional and Urban Policy – DG REGIO, brought together the Managing Authorities of the national and regional ERDF Programmes holding PRigA, marking the start of a new space for discussion on simplification and administrative capacity building.

The meeting provided an important opportunity to present the activities implemented, ongoing and future with the aim of strengthening the methodological-operational coordination of the services provided to the Managing Authorities of the Programs in the framework of the facilitation, support and evaluation actions of the strengthening initiatives financed at regional and national levels.

Among the central themes of the meeting were: the role of the PRigA Technical Secretariat and the support group; the opportunities offered by the PRigA Portal, a reference point for updates, networking activities and exchange of good practices; the National Catalogue of Simplified Cost Operations (OCS) methodologies, to facilitate the exchange and reuse of good practices; and the Capacity Building LABs (CB LABs), operational spaces dedicated to the exchange of experiences and practical solutions to support the implementation of Cohesion Programs.

Additional space was also dedicated to JASPERS activities, the European Investment Bank’s technical assistance service for projects in Europe, and the plan to support capacity building and evaluation of Cohesion Projects for the three-year period 2025-2027.
