Starting with this release, the portal adopts a new way of representing funded projects(opens in new window), enhancing the ability to navigate data through the CUP (Unique Project Code). There are now over 1.5 million projects (1,564,326) linked to various European and national programming cycles, with a monitored public cost of €276.7 billion and payments amounting to €171.2 billion. As for the cost directly borne by cohesion policies (the “cohesion cost”), this amounts to €229.8 billion, with payments totaling €152.3 billion.
Three new programmes have been added to the monitoring system starting from this reporting period:
- 2021–2027: COHESION AGREEMENT P.A. BOLZANO – FSC ADVANCES
- 2021–2027: FSC ALLOCATIONS FOR CAIVANO
- 2014–2020: POC LEGALITY
THE 2021–2027 PROGRAMMING CYCLE
Currently, the portal provides data only for projects financed through Advances or specific allocations of the 2021–2027 Cohesion and Development Fund (FSC), as monitored under the 2014–2020 version of the National Monitoring System. The National Monitoring System for the 2021–2027 cycle is currently being activated, and once fully operational, it will make all project data for this cycle available on the portal. Information on the implementation status of the 2021–2027 cycle as of February 28, 2025, is being published in the Cohesion Policy Monitoring Bulletin, issued by the General Inspectorate for Financial Relations with the European Union (IGRUE) of the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
