The 2025 edition of FORUM PA will kick off in one week, with this year’s central theme being the concept of an “Augmented Public Administration”—a vision rooted in the integration of people, advanced technologies, and collaborative relationships.

This vision also underpins the strategic approach of the 2021–2027 National Programme “Capacity for Cohesion” (PN CapCoe), which aims to enhance the overall performance of cohesion policy interventions in Italy through such integration.

The PN CapCoe will be present throughout the three-day event at the booth of the Department for Cohesion Policies and the South of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. The aim is to inform citizens and public administrators about the Programme’s key initiatives, particularly those targeting Southern Regional Administrations, including the cohesion policy recruitment campaigns and the Territorial Services Centre.

These two strategic actions will also be featured in the talk “Capacity for Cohesion: An Integrated Strategy to Improve the Use of EU Funds”, scheduled for 19 May at 2:30 PM in Room 8. The event will present the full scope of the Programme’s support measures, including the tools made available to all Managing Authorities of co-financed programmes in the 2021–2027 programming period via the PRigA Technical Secretariat.

Speakers include Alessandra Augusto, Managing Authority of the National Programme; Sergio Negro and Lino Vasinis, Managing Authorities of Campania and Friuli Venezia Giulia; and Jo Govartes and Andrea Floria from the European Commission – DG Regio.

The session will be moderated by Riccardo Monaco, Head of the Office for Administrative Capacity Building for Cohesion Policies.

To attend the event, registration is required through the dedicated page on the FORUM PA website.

Additionally, Riccardo Monaco will participate in a roundtable discussion on Tuesday, 20 May, as part of the thematic scenario dedicated to building a new administrative capacity for more effective use of EU funds.

Finally, we highlight the launch event of the communication campaign on the STEP platform, scheduled for 21 May, organized by the Department for Cohesion Policies and the South in collaboration with the Campania Region.
