On 4 and 5 July, the Sistine Lanes of Santo Spirito in Sassia will host the third edition of Missione Italia, the annual event organised by ANCI to discuss the National Recovery and Resilience Plan for Municipalities and Cities.

Two days of meetings and discussions between institutions, local administrations, mayors and experts in the sector to talk about the process of implementing the NRRP, analyse the current state of play and plan the next steps, with the aim of making Italian municipalities and cities protagonists of this ambitious project for the economic and social relaunch of the country.

In the frame of #MissioneItalia2024, on Friday, July 5th at 9:30 a.m., there will be a talk on The NRRP and the capacity for cohesion program for the strengthening of administrations.

Among the speakers, Riccardo Monaco, Director General of the Office for the strengthening of administrative capacity for cohesion policies, Department for cohesion policies and for the South of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, will offer an in-depth look at the National Program #capcoe and the extraordinary hiring plan to strengthen the territorial entities of the South and ensure more effective implementation of cohesion policy.

The talk will also feature interventions from: Agostino Bultrini, Head of Human Resources, Personnel and Trade Union Relations of Municipalities and Metropolitan Cities, ANCI’s research and projects for personnel skills enhancement; Giovanni Anastasi, President of Formez; Francesco Radicetti, General Manager of the Simplification Unit, Department of Public Administration.
